This extremely rare 19th century oil on tin retablo painting represents San Crispin together with his twin brother San Crispinian, the patron saints of cobblers, leather workers and tanners. In the ratable offered here, the twin saints toil at the cobblers bench while Jesus is fitted for a new pair of shoes. Circa 1860.
