Description
This fine and rare retablo painting by Geronimo de Leon, one of Mexico’s most important listed retablo painters, represents La Santisima Trinidad – The Holy Trinity. ‘La Santisima Trinidad’ represents God the Father as three persons – The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. The retablo is inscribed along the lower edge and dated October 2, 1910.
