Description
This exceedingly fine and rare 19th century retablo, circa 1850, represents ‘El Cristo de la Columna’ surrounded by an ornately detailed colonnade and flanked by two altar angels with the symbols of the passion in the foreground. A short ‘Oracion’ is legibly inscribed beneath the shadow of the right curtain.
